Physicians, Nurse Practitioners & Clinicians

Physicians, clinicians and all other staff members in all clinical settings require training based on their clinical roles, within scope of practice, and their administrative roles.

To be successful, all staff members need a basic understanding of the value of advance care planning. At the end of the initial basic training, staff will be able to:

With the changes in NYS Public Health Law effective as of May 28, 2018, the MOLST form, the DOH MOLST Checklists and other supporting materials need to be revised.  Subsequently, Dr. Pat Bomba will revise MOLST training materials.  Please check back for updated training opportunities.

EMS

MOLST EMS training is specifically designed to provide an overview of the MOLST Program and MOLST Comprehension for First Responders and EMS Personnel.

With the changes in NYS Public Health Law effective as of May 28, 2018, MOLST EMS training is being revised by members of the MOLST Statewide Implementation Team in partnership with Cypherworx and the University of Rochester Division of Prehospital Medicine.
